Saint Lawrence River, Harry (pose 3)

Back story on this, I was Camping along the Saint Lawrence River north of 1,000 islands. Our little bengi dog woke me up growling at the side of our tent just as daylight was beginning. Grabbed the camera, leashed the dog took off the snake guard that closed that hole in the zippers of tent and stepped out behind our tent to the nearest bush to take care of my morning business and there was this huge boulder that wasn't there the night before.

while taking care of my business, the boulder sprung legs and lifted to face me...

as shot, as raw and as fast as you can hit a button on a Kodak easyshare POS camera I got 'Harry' on the card.

between the spiders, the snakes and the man eating snapping turtle I mentioned 'Harry' to the property owner that morning over coffee, which note the bullet hole, he said someone shot old harry not knowing harry...would just go back to the river a couple of years ago..

Well I shot Harry also but I didn't leave a hole.
