I took this photograph at the Great Central Railway on a rainy day during Summer. I am self taught, so I am learning new things every day.Time
I had spent the day hopping on and off steam trains with my little girl and my friend, as a fun day out. It was early afternoon, and we were headed for the cafe to shelter from the rain. I saw the train approaching, whipped out my camera and took a few shots as it approached and passed me. It was a wet day in August 2014.Lighting
I didn't have time to think about lighting, as the train was moving relatively quickly, and I had to reach for my camera even quicker!Equipment
The photograph was taken with a Samsung WB800F. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I was admiring the trains and loved the way that the steam swirled around the train.Editing
I used Vignetting on my camera to make it slightly darker in the background.In my camera bag
I just have my camera. I am hoping to upgrade my camera in the future to a DSLR camera. I would like to focus more on landscape and nature shots.Feedback
