I love staircases, they make such a great subject. I had to wait until I could capture people in the right place within the staircase and that took ages.Editing
I sharpened the image and converted it using the channel method in photoshop. I always do a bit of dodging and burning to create a little more impact.In my camera bag
I was covering a motor race which ran through the day and night. I had a full frame Canon DSLR and a fast f2.8 70-200mm lens. It rained so I had a waterproof cape and a shower cap to cover my camera. I carried everything on a twin g shoulder bag that had a buiult-in waterproof cover.Feedback
If you are covering a car race and have access trackside, you will need plenty of water and excellent shoes.
