I have many reasons to like this shot, not least because it is a brilliant B/W image, i agree with VB ! "Way To Go" :))

Location
This photograph is my husband Paul, who is also a photographer. This was taken at Cardiff Bay Barrage during the summer, I remember it was a very hot day.Time
I simply cannot remember the exact time this was taken as it was quite a few years ago actually.Lighting
I saw Paul ahead of me, and it was very quiet down Cardiff Bay at the time, with hardly anyone around, there were storm clouds approaching, it was a very bright, hot summers day, and very humid, the light was amazing highlighting the path, I snapped this as the sun peeped through the clouds.Equipment
This was shot using a fuji finepix s7000, handheld, no flash, using a hoya filterInspiration
This is a great place to visit, with my husband being disabled the path is completely smooth and flat, I did not plan to take this picture, and just made the most of the opportunity for a good subject it was a matter of timing as the sunlight came through the clouds.Editing
I used photoshop elements 7, using the enhanced section, converted it to black and white, and clicked on infrared Effect, and this was the overall result, in which I was very happy with.In my camera bag
obviously, my Fuji fine pix s700, spare batteries, and a cleaning cloth, a hoya diffuser sky filter, which takes out any glare, good for extremely sunny days.Feedback
The eyes have it, it's as simple as that, a photographer needs to do what they need to do to get the right shot, opportunities sometimes arise and you just have to snap them up sometimes its a matter of timing which you need to get just right otherwise it gets missed, this was a there and then moment.
