Location
On my kitchen counter, was given some daffodils for Cancer Day.Time

Experimented with using an iPhone torch to enhance the light focus. Used manual settings to enhance the depth and colours created in the photo. Allowed for the detail and the creation on the washed out, flowing look of the petals.Equipment
Nikon D7000 with a Nikon Macro 105mm lensInspiration
Enjoy taking macros of flowers experimenting with different light sources. Daffodils are symmetrical loved how by using the iPhone created depth when taking the macro shot.Editing
Yes, I adjusted the contrast to bring out the different textures in the photo. In my camera bag
Nikon D7000, Nikon D7200. Nikon lens 105mm macro, standard 18-55mm and 55 -300 mm. Tamron 150-600mm Tripod. Torch and iPhone to create a different light source.Feedback
Practice makes perfect. Take the time to study the flower looking at the shapes, textures and sizes of the different parts of the flower. Take photos of different angles. I always use manual setting when taking photos. The depth in macros is more defined and you can play with the lighting.
