Thanks. This was taken a few weeks ago when meteors were going strong. I got the fog rolling in instead since the moon wouldn't allow me to get the meteors.

Thank you. The colors truly came from the lights down below. I opened my shutter for 10 minutes I think... I love taking night shots

Thank you very much. You truly wouldn't think the lights were green when seeing them from the hill with the fog. All you could see were little lights. It's really cool what an open shutter will capture.

Thank you so much. This was taken from my property. It was a beautiful evening that night.

Location
This was taken on my property in West Virginia, USATime
This was taken between the hours of 9pm to 10pm.Lighting
I opened my shutter for about 10 minutes. The orange glow on the right would be the moon popping up and the green from below was a small light in the fog.Equipment
I used my Canon T5i, and a tripod. No flash was used. I just opened the shutter for apx. 10 minutes.Inspiration
I was trying to get star trail this night since there were meteors everywhere this night. The moon came out and it was a moot point so I shot the fog rolling in.Editing
No, this is truly what you see is what you get.In my camera bag
My camera and a few filters, and an extra battery.Feedback
When trying for something and it doesn't come out perfect, go for something different and see what happens. I didn't think the green light would show up the way it did. Have patience and just have fun with taking photos.
