Behind The Lens

Location

Natural Bridge in Virginia

Time

This was taken at night after the light show they do nightly.

Lighting

I wanted to be sure to capture the color of the lights on the rock and still be able to have the stream show up.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 60D using a 17-40mm L f/4 and a tripod.

Inspiration

The lighting and the bright colors

Editing

This is an HDR processed photo. I used Photomatix and photoshop.

In my camera bag

Canon 60D, Canon 17-40mm L f/4, Canon 100-400 L f/4, Canon 50mm 1.8

Feedback

Just be patient and take multiple shots to capture different exposures to see what works best. Be sure to use a tripod
