Behind The Lens

Location
Coast of the Rio de la Plata in Buenos Aires city, Argentina
Time
Just after sunset during the supermoon of August 2014
Lighting
I really liked the way the moonlight was seen through the clouds, but due to the wind the clouds passed very fast so I tried with lower and lower speeds until, I believe, I managed to capture a bit of what I saw in that moment.
Equipment
Canon T2i, Sigma 17-70 F2.8 DC OS HCM, MeFoto Backpacker tripod
Inspiration
I just wanted to take a photo of the supermoon over the fishing club but the clouds didn't let me. So I walked around and waited, and I took several photos until the moon was too high in the sky.
Editing
I added a bit of contrast and perspective correction in Lightroom
In my camera bag
Canon T2i, SIgma 17-70 2.8 DC OS HCM, ND filter, polarizing filter, MeFoto Backpacker tripod, remote trigger, Yongnuo ttl flash and my beloved Konica Autoreflex TC with Ilford HP5 film
Feedback
Use a sturdy tripod. My Backpacker is really good for travelling light but in a windy day, like that day, is a bit unstable. I did have to hang my backpack from the tripod to avoid movements caused by the wind.
