Thick clouds were hugging the tops of Hallet Peak and Flattop Mountain this morning, but the sun gave a nice golden glow to their slopes as it rose.

Pentax K-3, Sigma DC 18-250 HSM (at 18mm), ISO 100, f-11.0.

A 5 shot HDR composite consisting of exposures of 1-6s, 0.3s, 0.6s, 1.3s, and 2.5s, merged in Photomatix Pro. Additional processing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
