An American Alligator (Alligator Mississippiensis) at Brazos Bend State Park, Texas, USA, waiting to ambush lunch. This gator has found a way to use the moss as a type of camo when he surfaces. I really wanted to reach down and move the branches out of the way (I was only 3 feet or so way from this guy and sitting on the ground) but figured it would scare him away or get me gator bit.
