In trying to catch the early morning light, it imparted a very soft effect to the photo.Equipment
I used a Canon T3 with the 18-55 MM lens.Inspiration
Breitenbush is a very peaceful, relaxing & safe place. The way this path leads off up the hill, it is like a stairway to Heaven.Editing
I did do some post-processing. I converted the photo to Black & White. I also did some adjusting with the with the contrast to sharpen the photo.In my camera bag
I have upgrade my camera recently. I purchased a Canon 70D. I have 3 lenses: 18-55 mm STM, 55-250 mm STM & a 50MM STM prime lens. I also carry an assortment of filters.Feedback
Enough can not be said about being there at the right moment. Early morning & late afternoon can give optimal lighting. The other thing I do is take lots of photos. Know your camera & be adventurous by trying different settings. You should be willing to be somewhat self critical so you can improve the next time. Mostly though just go out & have fun. Shoot what you like. Don't be so worried about what others may like.
