I tried to set this shot up for several days in a row, but the wind never fully cooperated when it came time for sunset. This was the best flag motion I could get. Also, due to the angle of the sun and the height of the flag, I was limited to shooting in a very specific spot on the 3rd floor balcony, which also happened to be partially obscured by a palm tree. But under the circumstances, I was pretty happy with the end result. Hopefully I can try a similar shot in the future. This was shot on a Canon 6D, at f-6.3, 1-320 sec, ISO-1600. The lens was the Canon 100-400mm, at the maximum zoom with a polarizer attached. The image was processed in Lightroom, then touched up in Perfect Effects and Photoshop, then re-processed again in Lightroom.
