I love the way the clouds are scattered in that sunlit sky, and the reflection of it on the wet sand. SUPERB !

Location
This image was taken at South Point park, just on the southern most tip of South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida.Time
This was taken at sunrise. We arrived just prior to the sun coming up.Lighting
As you can see from the image, it was a very ideal day for sunrise photography, what with plenty of clouds filling the sky and great colors.Equipment
Canon Rebel T2i with Canon 18-135mm lens, Benro tripod, no flash.Inspiration
I've been shooting sunrise and landscape photography for some time. This was my first time shooting at this location. It was a pleasant surprise. This location was a bit of a departure for me in that it has this easily accesible jetty and offers great compositional opportunities with many interesting features.Editing
This image is actually a three exposure HDR image. I processed this using Photomatix Pro initially to capture the highlights and shadows. After, I did some minor post processing in Photoshop using Topaz Labs products. Having said, the image is actually very close to the actual images I captured in my camera. In my camera bag
Camera, 18-134 lens, 70-300 lens, shutter release for timed exposures, Polarizer filter, graduated filter and a few other filters. I bring a tripod with me most days, regardless of shooting conditions and locations.Feedback
Get out and explore and shoot...often. Also, read a lot. There is a ton of good material, tutorials and webinars. And plenty of really good images to get inspired by.
