The creek is full of the melting snow from an extremely large amount of snow in the Colorado mountains this winter. The mill was built in the late 1800's to provide compression to the mines in the canyon. It is a 7 mile drive on a one lane road only accessible on a 4 wheel drive vehicle at a maximum of 4 MPH.
