Behind The Lens

Location

This photo I shot indoor, with a set very simple: I put a baking pan over the sink in the kitchen, as I used the water dispenser faucet by adjusting the aperture.

Time

in the early afternoon

Lighting

As lighting I used a flash, in TTL mode, a Nikon Sb910 in order to freeze the water drop.

Equipment

I used my Nikon d3200, a tripod, a remote control, the flash Nikon SB910 and the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8,a fork and a bowl to create a colorful background

Inspiration

Use a fork as the main subject, was dictated by my imagination and from the place where I had set up the photo shoot. I liked the shape and the color orange. As background I used a colorful bowl that I placed on the back of the set, thus creating the reflection in the blue.

Editing

As post production I just straightened the photo and nothing else

In my camera bag

My kit usually includes: the Nikon D3200, Tokina 11-16mm, Nikkor 50mm f / 1.4 G, nikkor 105mm f / 2.8, ND filters, a tripod (Manfrotto 055XPROB with Junior Geared Head), lens cleaning kit, a torch, multipurpose kit, a remote control, Plamp, spare batteries, spare memory card

Feedback

Technically it is ??very simple shot, by setting up a set at home, which is essential to take the drops of water. The main subject can be anything, in this case a fork in my other photos I used a spoon for example ... the important thing is to use your imagination and make a lot of shots.
