This is the best lit flight shot I think I have ever seen. I also really like the choice of black and white.

Not much more I can add to what's already been written, but what a staggering shot. The details are incredible in the smoke and the lighting is tremendous. A really breathtaking shot and one you must be very proud of.............I know I would be :)

Location
Took this photo during an Airshow in the summer of last year 2014 at RAF Valley, Anglesey, North Wales Had a fabulous day it was hot and the sun was shinningTime
Well it was around mid-day the sun was high and the arrows were doing what they do best awesome show as usualLighting
I wouldn't say it was perfect lighting as every photographer loves a bit of cloud This day was blue skies all round and this particular shot was directly into the sun I looked at the image in Camera and thought that the colour is wrong, A pale blue And grey trails hmmm,Equipment
I never leave the house without my Canon 650D and sigma 70-300mm But just upgraded to the Canon 100-400mm all I can say is wow what a lensInspiration
I'm so big into aviation photography I love it so much it's fun capturing planes/Jets at high speed and such An adrenaline RushEditing
In this shot the colour was all wrong just didn't look right the sky was pale Blue and the jets looked hazey My mind was boggling thinking what could I do to this image, Then I thought HDR a little then black n white wow it looked awesome and they're you have it And it looks amazing on the canvas I have at home :)In my camera bag
Have a great bag which holds all I need for landscaping I have Sigma 17-35mm f/2.8 which I usually use for my night photography Canon 17-40mm f/4-5.6 which I use for seascapes and landscapes Sigma 10-20mm wide lens also for landscapes Canon 100-400mm for aviation photography Canon 650D Canon 7D mkIIFeedback
In any airshow shoot in raw and use your continuos shooting what ever it takes Shoot at high speeds and be patient ;)
