Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on a studio shoot with my then local Photographic society. Very interesting shoots over the weeks we had

Time

This was an evening shoot during the week. The organiser was a professional photographer and had the contacts and release notes sorted etc

Lighting

Normal studio lighting controlled from a remote gun on the flash show

Equipment

Camera: Nikon D500 Lens: 18-55mm Remote gun in flash shoe

Inspiration

I had always been intersted in how photoshoots were taken and so jumped at the chance to practice. Just turning

Editing

JUst turning it from colour to back and white

In my camera bag

At the time of the shoot I had a Nikon 500, 18-55mm lense and 55-200mm. I now (in addition) have a Nikon D500 and Sigma 18-300 and 100-400mm in my bag

Feedback

First I would look at joining your local photographic society. Loads of experience and knowledge between the members. It can also be a way of improving your photography with courses run by the Royal Photographic Society
