I am very fortunate to have a home here in a little bay called Amos which is near the city of Marmaris in Turkey.Time
There is nothing so nice as to get up early in the morning when all is quiet and walk down to the beach to catch the sun coming up for another beautiful day in Paradise!Lighting
This was taken after a storm , good timing when the sun came up ,giving the scene a dramatic lookEquipment
I had my Canon 550D mounted on my travel tripod with a 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I love taking pictures of the sun rising and being in such a beautiful place there are plenty of opportunities to try and catch the shot, so enjoy practising!Editing
I did use Photoshop Elements to bring out the richness of the colours.In my camera bag
I have now upgraded to a Canon 6D with my favourite Canon wide angle lens 17-40mm and an all purpose Canon 24-105mm but my favourite would have to be the Canon 50mm prime lens plus my travel tripod a Velbon Ultra Lux.Feedback
Put the alarm on and get up early! Throughout the year there are some beautiful sunrises which will look so totally different with the different cloud formations. Just keep practising!
