Great image here but I have to say I'd be afraid to walk too close, it looks like it's falling a brick (or stone) at a time. It'll be sad when it's all gone.

This looks to of been a very Grande and formidable castle back in its historic days. What a great shame it has now been left to gradually crumble (but even as it is now holds a great fascination). Lets hope it still stands for many years ahead. Very well taken Roy and the additional information adds good interest.

Wonderful ruin..How I would have loved to see it in it's

great shot of a majestic castle left to just disappear , but its grandeur still outlives us all. wonderful photograph.
