Behind The Lens

Location

Couer d'Alene City Beach in Couer d'Alene, ID.

Time

7am

Lighting

The lighting is natural but accentuated through careful manipulation of the foreground and background. The slight lens flare was added later.

Equipment

Canon 5D Mk II, Canon 24-70 L lens.

Inspiration

It was a beautiful time of day with a beautiful couple who were very much in love. This was a spontaneous and sincere pose. It always helps when nobody is "acting."

Editing

I processed the foreground and background separately to maintain the best details and colors in both.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D Mk II, Canon 24-70L Lens, Sigma 17-35EX, Sigma 150-500mm, various lens filters, a Canon 580EX speedlight and some flash modifiers.

Feedback
