This photo was taken at my studio, I seem to have a following with woman who wants to have sensual images taken for gifts to their partners. As a woman I think my female clients feel more at easeTime
The time is not important when you shoot in studio.My studio is at my house and I can shoot during the day or evening depending what the client wants.Lighting
This was done with a low key lighting setup, I enjoy a bit of drama in most images and mostly use 1 or 2 lights at 45 degree angles to the model and then moving it more to the sides in order to create drama.Equipment
I am a Canon uses and shoot with a 5D mark 2 and 3. Often times I use my macro lens for studio portraits or my 28-105mmInspiration
The idea with this image is the implied nudity and the fact that it looks like a stolen moment of a lady wearing her husbands shirt.Editing
With this image I did very little post production,however I do enjoy altered reality when I get a chanceIn my camera bag
I carry both Canon 5D mk 2 & 3 bodies,my 100-400mm as well as my Macro and a 85mm fixed lens...to cary more is way too heavyFeedback
To take images like this I do suggest you meet with the model or client for a cup of coffee and go through images to see what she had in mind. At all times the model must be comfortable and she must set the boundaries, it also help if you have an assistant to make sure the model is not exposed more than she was intended.I also plan the lighting very well as to not have to jump up and down with high and low positions. The best advice is a story board, it may be in point form or make thumb nail drawings, planning the shoot in sequence.
