This photo makes me wish I was there, sitting on that hill beside that tree watching that sunrise. Very nice work!

Location
This photo was taken from the hill in back of our house in Klamath Falls, Oregon.Time
It was a cold morning, but seeing the sun rise from our bedroom window, I knew I needed to trudge up the hill about 6am and try to snap whatever the sunrise would capture. This is what I snapped.Lighting
I love sunrises, and sunsets. Southern Oregon has amazing both. I am an novice to photography, but knew the sun rising behind the tree, and shining on the grass below would make for some amazing lighting.Equipment
I can't remember what camera I shot this with, but use a Canon 60D. No flash, or tripod was used, just the natural light.Inspiration
I love my area of Southern Oregon, and love to show it off. I thought this picture would show how beautiful it is.Editing
I always shoot raw, and transfer it jpeg via Lightroom. I don't think I did any other processing of this picture other than maybe adjusting the exposure up a little. In my camera bag
Always carry my 10-22 Canon Wide Angle Zoom lens. It takes amazing landscape pictures.Feedback
Take your time, go to the sun, don't wait for it to come to you. If you are a hunter, you know about having patience for the game to come to you. I'm not a hunter, but find that my passion for landscape photography is pretty much the same.
