It is taken by a small pond in Hvalfjordur western Iceland.Time

The bright summer nights in Iceland are a wonderful time to photograph. The light is wonderful, the colors beautiful and fresh and the surroundings often very still and quiet. The atmosphere in the nature is unique in my opinion and based on my experience.Equipment
I took this photo with Canon EOS 5D camera and Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM II lens.Inspiration
I had already decided to take a photo like this - on a peaceful moment on a beautiful morning in the fisherman’s life. I wanted it to tell a story and I think it does.Editing
In this image I worked mostly in levels, curves and hue/saturation to approve the colors, light and contrast. I also used the cloned tool a bit; in the background behind the water and under the mountain there was a little house which I found distracting for the image as a whole - so I cloned it out.In my camera bag

Try to tell a story with your images. It’s possible to find stories everywhere if looked carefully and then try to frame them with good composition using the environment and surroundings as possible and I especially mention the sky and the clouds in that context. And if you are photographing in Iceland I would encourage you to go out in the bright summer nights.
