Far be it for me to criticize, but I think the photo would have been better without the giant earring. Beautiful light and colours.

Location
This Photo was taken in a studio few years ago while i was living in Republic in MoldovaTime
It was sometimes in the afternoon, i can't recall exactly as i was not counting on a daylightLighting
I used just one strobe above her head inclined at about 30 degree, there was nothing special, a very simple and yet effective setupEquipment
For this particular photo i used a Canon 50D with a canon 50mm 1.4 lens,and one 4x4 Strobe , with following settings ISO 100, F/5 , 1/125.Inspiration
This photo was part of a handmade local Jewelry photo session, and my goal was beside make the jewelry look great on models, add personality into it as well, by creating this photo i wanted to accentuate how often times we are more concentrated on exteriors rather what lays inside of each one of us.Editing
And , yes, of course the picture is edited, i added vignetting to add drama to it, color correction and filters in Photoshop, but nothing crazyIn my camera bag
In my bag at the moment i have a Canon 6D, Canon 50mm 1.4, Tamron 70-200 2.8Feedback
They key for a great portrait at times is not having 10 light setup,(although that can be sooo much fun) but actually get caught in the moment and understand what would you like to have after the session is over, sometimes less is more, as example of this particular picture.
