The field was In Chelmsford Ontario Canada. The chair, because this was only one chair duplicated and layered with Photoshop.Time
The field was taken around 5 pm on a very sunny dayLighting
When making this kind of photograph in Photoshop, you have to use photo that have shadows that seems to come from the same light direction.Equipment
A Canon 30 D, Canon EF-S 18-55 mm at F 5.6 Focal Length 55 mm, hand heldInspiration
The massive yellow that filled my eyes then. The beauty of this field and this bright yellow that almost blind me while driving by... For the chair, I often take pictures of ordinary object keeping in mind that I would maybe use one day... One day I was inspired by an article in a Photo magazine that was talking about multi-layer use in photography and while searching through my memory and my photo library these two pictures came to my mind and this is what came out of it... ?Editing
As explained before, I used Photoshop CS4 Mask and Layers functions to cut one copy of the chair, duplicate it in different sizes and used the layers to set the chairs in this funny and dream like position that makes beleive they are flying. In my camera bag
I usualy carry my 7D Canon DSLR with my multipurpose Canon 28-135 mm Ultrasonic 3.5-5.6 IS Zoom Lens also my Canon Ultrasonic EF 100 mm 2.8 Macro lens USM, and my Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II lens. I always have at least my mono pod with me and some time my tripod.Feedback
I have the chance to live in the country from end of September to beginning of may and on Manitoulin Island from May to end of September. I am blessed by Mother Nature every day of my life ? I spend many hours walking trails and country roads. I look around, I take time to stop and check with my "Mind Eye" if this scenery, that flower, this insect would be perfect in my photo collection and "Click" it is mine now and I can share with the world, now with Internet, the beauty of our world... Take your time. Take time to see what other do not see because they are to much in a rush to go or do???
