This was taken in Santa Fa New Mexico during the start of a snow storm. We were there for Christmas 2009 visiting family in New Mexico. They all had to work this day so we took a trip to Santa Fa for the day. As my wife and daughter were in a shop looking around I was out on the street taking shots of the area. It started to snow and I grabbed this image from across the street through the snow. I used a Pentax K100D with a 70 to 200 lens. Shot at f-8 at 1-250 sec ISO 200 at a focal length of 200mm. About an hour later we had to get out of Santa Fa because the snow was so heavy they were talking about closing the pass back to our family.

This is another great shot! The color and composition are great; the snow really gives it the depth.
