I shot this in the door frame of my bathroom, with a plain table cloth pinned infant of my bedroom door, with that door ope so the light could come thru the cloth :) It was cramped but also gave me something supportive to lean on when needing to twist into frame, because, yes, that's me.Time
It was early in the day, morning sun streaming into my bedroom window and flooding my hallway, giving me the ideaLighting
I also used my flash off camera, poised on a dining room chair, to my right, to really highlight my sideEquipment
This was my first DSLR, the canon rebel T2i, with a tripod, transceivers and off camera flashInspiration
I'm bi-polar and my work reflects my headspace, so on this day I was feeling empowered and sexy, not bad feelings at all, and photography is my healthy way of sharing my headspace with the worldEditing
I did the black and white myself, admittedly with very little knowledge and more just played with it until it just looked the way I wanted it to... This was taken a little early in my learning stages, but I still got what I wanted from itIn my camera bag
I've upgraded my camera since, to a Canon EOS 6D, and I never ever leave my place without my 100mm prime and my 70-300mm zoomFeedback
Be patient, that was not the first dousing of myself. Stretch first, if you're going to be twisting, bending, or really anything other than sitting/standing still, a good stretch will ensure you're long, lean and limber And lastly, be prepared to make a mess, don't use the guest towels, don't do it over carpet... you get my drift ;)
