Hi, My name is Ed Azzopardi, one of the Curators at View Bug, and I would like to welcome you!
I've been a professional photographer most of my life. My background includes working as
staff photographer for Fairchild Publications, publishers of NY fashion magazines, Women's
Wear Daily, Men’s wear, and "W". Photographed celebrities including, Frank Sinatra, Alfred
Hitchcock, Bing Crosby, Patty Duke, Ed Sullivan, Jacqueline Kennedy, and other well known
celebrities of that time.
Additionally, I also did aerial photography, taking weekly progress PHOTOGRAPHS of
construction projects from THE SKIDS OF a helicopter. cONSTRUCTION Projects, such as the
Twin Towers during their construction from the ground up, until completion.
Freelanced when ever possible, photographing runway shows for foreign fashion buyers.
Experience with figure modeling and portraiture helped to round out my photographic career.
Owned and operated two full service wedding studios, which supplied everything for the
prospective wedding couple, from gowns to photography and everything in between. I
personally photographed over 800 weddings, and was the first videographer of that time,
simultaneously shooting stills and video footage with a two camera custom mount.
I am always eager to help anyone with their photographic skills, so please don't hesitate to ask.
