Thanks, everyone, for all the great compliments! The day I got these shots was the last day these guys stuck their little beaks out. Methinks Momma gave them a lecture about the dangers of humans... especially humans with cameras. lol

Location
This photo was taken in Lancaster County, PA. It was in the Spring... a beautiful day, where all you wanted was to be outside. At this point in time I lived in the countryside, and Mother Nature was thriving! I spent many happy hours capturing beautiful memories.Time
Its been several years since I got this shot, but venturing a guess, I would have to say late morning.Lighting
I use what lighting is avaiable.Equipment
My only equipment was my camera, a Fuji FinePix, which is a point and shoot.Inspiration
It was an all-around inspirational kind of day! Mother Nature was in her element... new life springing forth everywhere you looked. I'd had my eye on the bird houses because you could hear the babies. They'd now gotten big enough to look out the opening, hoping to catch sight of Momma bringing their lunch. They had no fear of me outside their house looking up at them!Editing
I love to edit almost as much as shooting. Don't use anything fancy to edit, just 2 free programs... Picasa and PhotoScape. In my camera bag
A point and shoot, batteries, lense cloth, and either a tripod or monopod. I need to travel light!Feedback
ALWAYS carry your camera! Opportunities are all around and many times happen by chance. Only one in ten shots is a keeper, so take lots of shots. Most of all, enjoy yourself!
