Behind The Lens

Location

Was taken at Australia zoo. A great day out with family

Time

I do think it was afternoon, the big cats were getting there milk

Lighting

Not much here, as it was afternoon. So I had to re-edit this in photoshop. It was shot through glass, so I blurr the background to smooth it out.

Equipment

Just my good old canon 1100d and kit len. As I was very close to glass and was on an angle.

Inspiration

Love the wild cars,. And this is the closest I can get to the wild cat.

Editing

Yes, i used photoshop to blurr around the cat. Then sharpen, and some burning. An old photo, that brings back memories. I had to clean it up. And photoshop helped.

In my camera bag

Batteries, lots of them. Two lens 18-55 & 55 - 250. Cleaning kits. Sometime a small book and pens for notes.

Feedback

Well shooting through glass, turn flash off for starts. This stop flash backs. I shoot sideways mostly, this sometime made the photo look long on far side. Sometimes it works. I also keep the camera on target and have it ready.
