Location
A few people have asked me where I took this photo and all are shocked. it was taken in my local supermarket car park over the top of about 200 cars.Time
It was getting towards winter so this was taken at about 5pm.Lighting
Nothing to say about lighting really, I just had to be where I was and find a good viewpoint. nature took care of the rest.Equipment
I used my Nikon d5100, 55-300 lens on manual mode f22 and 1/500s shutter speed, it was a hand held photo as most of mine are.Inspiration
It was the light really, the sunset was an amazing colour and where I parked I had a good view, I only had a few feet to move to line up the trees as I wanted them, and i was very happy with how the photo came out.Editing
No edit at all, straight off the camera as it is.In my camera bag
My bag had a d5100 but now its a d5300, I still have both. my favourite lens is always on my camera, 105 macro lens with a x2 teleconverter attached, an 18-55, 55-300, 50mm prime, 150-500mm, 1.4 teleconverter and the normal lens cleaning things.Feedback
One thing I would say to anyone is to look around you then stop and look again but really look. so many people walked past me while I took this and not one looked and saw it, I think that's a shame people don't see what nature is trying to show them.
