Wow..So beautiful

Behind The Lens

Location

This image was captured at Akey Photography Studio (ApS) in Windsor, Ontario Canada.

Time

The session began at 5:30pm and we worked for 2 hours.

Lighting

I used 4 strobes. 2 were background lights, 1 beauty dish for key to camera left and the other a medium (20x30) softbox as fill to camera right.

Equipment

Captured with Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8. Strobes are Alien Bees B800 model.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the youthful beauty of the model. The MUA, model and I collaborated on this set.

Editing

Post processing: frequency separation and dodge/burn techniques and layer masking were required to achieve the final image.

In my camera bag

I usually carry 2 canon bodies, 2 lenses (24-70mm and 70-200mm), a couple of Yongnuo manual flashes and triggers and a tripod.

Feedback

Pay close attention to detail and watch how the light plays on the model to create the proper shadow placement and catch lights in the model's eyes.
