Composing of a Mild Dress with a model and a multi image composing of different Milk Splashes we trhew at the (nude) model. The Composing in Photoshop was really time consuming - but the image was worth all the work.

Congrats on your win, Great creativity. May I ask you what type of program you use to distort/manipulate the clothing like you did. Thx, RC

Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in my studio.

Time

in the afternoon

Lighting

I used 4 studio flashes. The positions have been in a square around the model. 2 in the back, 2 in the front.

Equipment

Camera was a Canon 5D Mark II

Inspiration

The Image is part of a series of milk dress shootings.

Editing

The image is a combination of different photos - first the nude model, then each milk part is cut off of another photo and stitched together to the image. The floor is also a manipulation because. It was a lot of work in photoshop to cut out each drop of milk...

In my camera bag

It depends on the photosession - The camera, some remote camera flashes or the studio flashes with a (big) batterie pack. Diffusors, ...

Feedback

The problem with the milk dresses is the fast moving milk. Normal studio flashes are almost to slow to freeze the milk. It would be perfect to have studio flashes with 1/8000 or faster... but this image is produced with studio flashes of about 1/1000..
