The still waters of Lake Tekapo in New Zealand are a sight to behold. On a calm day, the waters are so still that the surface literally forms a mirror to reflect the peaks of the Southern Alps to the west. I took this shot in the middle of the day – at 2pm no less when the sun was at its worst – after which I took it upon myself to cast a flat rock against the waters of the lake with the intention of making the rock bounce on the still waters… I lost count of 22 as the rock just kept going, and going, and going…
