As the time of the year was around Feb , and it is winter, the sun is not harsh, made a good day for photography.. I got this shot around 8 in the morning, when the light was nice and soft and coming from a low v angle.Equipment
This pic was taken from a safari vehicle, and the gears used was Nikon D 800 body with a sigma 800 mm lens with a bean bag for stabilization.Inspiration
Although, a common bird, but the right light could bring about the best of it.Editing
PP was very minimalistic, as the light was good there was hardly any need to process much. A bit of WB correction and a bit of shadow opening was all that was required.In my camera bag
Currently, I do a lot of work on wildlife with a wide angle lens, hand held. The gears I carry are 2 Nikon D 850 bodies, with lens like 600 mm Nikon prime, 200 mm Nikon prime and 20 mm sigma .Feedback
For bird photography, use a proper DOF , atleast 2-3 f stops above the weirdest aperture.. The SS should be atleast above 1/100 . The ISO as low as possible
