and it is for this reason that i love photography: the snail is one of those things that i squeel and scream at when i accidentally crush one *shudder* because they are absolutely gross and slimy. yet this photo makes me squeel and scream for a different reason. This picture of a snail is absolutely unworldly and beautiful. I now have a profound and deep respect for snails. Thank you for that. You have inspired me.

Snails are fascinating in my opinion, I've watched quite a few in my day and been fortunate enough to have my camera with me a couple of those times. This takes the cake though - Amazing !
