Behind The Lens

Location

This was a music festival called "Youth fesitval" in Subotica, Serbia. It was november 2013.

Time

It was around 9 p.m.

Lighting

Lightning was complex and changing all the time, but it was pretty good. Taking photos was a joy.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D5100 and manual Nikkor 50mm f2.0AI.

Inspiration

I just love shooting concerts, especially with good lightning.

Editing

Yes, standard post processing in Lightroom. Exposure, shadows, lights, colors, contrast. Nothing special.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D5100 and a few lenses. 18-55mm kit, manual Nikkor 50mm 2.0AI and Sigma 55-200. I also carry my Yongnuo Yn560-II flash and sometimes I carry my tripod.

Feedback

Pay attention to the lightning and how it changes, wait for a good moment, ray of light on your subject, try different framings. Just practice as much as possible.
