Superbe! Un mâle ? Il me fait penser à l'éléphante qui tout en me portant s'est assise dans le Mekong, sous la vigilance de son cornac. Au camp des elephants de Luang Prabhang, Laos

Behind The Lens

Location
This photograph was taken at Madikwe South Africa
Time
12 noon when the sun was high
Lighting
With very strong sunlight I decided the best approach was to shoot in colour and then convert to B&W.
Equipment
Nikon D700 80-400 Nikon
Inspiration
This elephant was making a terrific noise and submerging himself in the watering hole, making an interesting sighting
Editing
Converted to B&W and a bit of dodging and burning
In my camera bag
2 bodies 14-24 24-70 70-200 200-400 105 macro and 30 years experience as a professional photographer
Feedback
Good fresh batteries and plenty of cards Be patient and look for the interesting angle
