Behind The Lens

Location

My husband and I were in Rome .We were touring the inside of The Parthenon on our own.

Time

My time stamp said 8:30 am but I'm going with around 2 to 3 in the afternoon. My camera was still set to Eastern time zone.

Lighting

We were tourist so we lucked out. But it was an overcast day that day in Oct.

Equipment

Lumex camera landscape program aperture was at 3.5 shutter speed 1/55 a steady hand.

Inspiration

Opportunity was there. When in Rome you know..

Editing

My post processing is generally minimal. LR is as tech as I get. I think I might have brought up the contrast and exposure a tiny bit but not much.

In my camera bag

That lumix bit the dust not long after I had it. I now carry A D7100. Nikon . with a 50mm lens or a 55-110 lens Most of my recent things I've taken has been in the Macro field.I like my aperture control and my speed light for that.

Feedback

The overcast day lent to the quality of the picture. It was a right time and place kind of moment. I would say a tripod is a great tool . I also would say a polarized lens filter is always good to have too. Just keep your eyes peeled beauty is everywhere.
