The Golden Hour - an hour after sunriseLighting
The sun is all the light you need! I prefer natural light to artificial light whenever possible. At this stage I had only had my Canon EOS 600D for a month or so when I took this shot.Equipment
Canon EOS 600D (my very first DSLR camera) with a kit EF-S18-55mm - f1/3.5-5.6 IS II lens and me.Inspiration
It was a little too late in the morning to capture anymore Sunrise photos, so I sat down to take a break while basking in the warmth of the morning sun. It was then I noticed the shot and it was actually the shot itself that inspired me. I thought it looked cool and loved the simple beauty in a dandelion and sneakers. This photo has inspired many more sneaker pics so I will be forever in it's debt.Editing
Just a little bit of cropping was required as my composition was slightly off.In my camera bag
Canon EOS 750D, Canon EOS 600D, Tamron 10-24mm, EF-S18-55mm f1/3.5-5.6 IS II, ef-s55-250mm f1/4-5.6 and a Manfrotto Tripod.Feedback
Look around you to find inspiration & don't be afraid to try anything as you just never know how a photo will connect with you & others - some of my best shots are a total surprise. I'm always amazed at what grabs my attention. When you see a great shot, capture it, then move 5-10 steps in any direction and capture the same view again for a different perspective. I find this to be a great way to keep shooting without trying to find that perfect shot every time.
