Behind The Lens

Location

I took this in my old apartment at my room.

Time

It was late in the after noon. but you can do this any time of the day.

Lighting

There is nothing special lighting here. Just the LED flash light is enough. You just need to know the basic of exposure settings to get this kind of photo.

Equipment

I used my compact digital camera GE G100. I put it in macro focus.

Inspiration

I was at the experimental stage of my photography and exploring. Mastering exposure and Finding things that no one else is see or being ignored. it's like seeing the unseen object. haha

Editing

Yes I did post post process it. I adjust the brightness and contrast to achieve the look I want. white balance was also change to align to mood i want to express

In my camera bag

Back then I only have my compact camera. Now I always carry may Pentax K-01 + 1 extra battery for camera + my kit lens + grey card + remote + lens pen. I sometimes throw in my manual telephoto 135mm 2.8 prime lens and my 50mm 1.8 prime lens. Depending on the location or event i will bring my external flash and some extra battery.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Study and try. If your not happy with the results, try again until you get it. Experience is the best teacher they say.
