Behind The Lens

Location

I was on vacation in South Carolina at the Magnolia Plantation and Garden.

Time

Funny you should ask that question, that morning on April 6, 2014 it was a storm and I wasn't sure if I was going to get out to take any pictures. When we got to the gardens around 3 it was an overcast day with lots of clouds. It's was 3:50pm when I took this image.

Lighting

It was a a cloudy day but the sun was shining.

Equipment

This was shot with my Nikon D3200. I hand held for this shot. My setting on my camera was f/5, 1/200 and my ISO 200.

Inspiration

It was such a beautiful location in the early spring, when I approach the area it was so lovely and tranquil.

Editing

I crop it a little and brighten the exposure. Then clean up a few twigs that was distracting.

In my camera bag

Nikon D610 and NikonD3200, 1/8 50mm, 24-85mm, 60mm micro and 55-200mm and my go to lens. Reflectors and speed lite.

Feedback

Just think about your setting on your camera.
