At the edge of a swamp,where the water is shallow,these grassy little mounds get covered in snow making for a cool light-shadow-texture kind of shot .

I ran across this little guy in the spring and fed him some sun flower seeds as I patiently waited for the spring song bird migration to begin.There wasn't much to shoot otherwise. He soon became quite tolerant of me,and allowed me to approach quite close as he fed.
