Thank you, Here in Geraldton WA the local council have erected nesting poles for the eagles (osprey) they are hard to capture at the best of times, it was by chance that i got this shot.

Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken at a place in Geraldton WA called Sunset Beach, while having lunch with my wife.

Time

the photo was taken at approximately 1:00 pm

Lighting

lighting was natural and quite harsh for that time of day

Equipment

the camera used for this shot was a Fuji EXR200 hand held shot

Inspiration

this shot was taken by chance when a young sea eagle with a fish in his claw, landed on a light pole, I didn't have much time to fluff about setting the camera basically point focus and shoot.

Editing

There has been no post processing at all, I have always tried to avoid post process it can detract from natural lighting. if I don't like the photo I delete it. probably comes from processing film back in the early 80,s

In my camera bag

I have two cameras, Canon 600D and my trusty Fuji EXR200 with fixed zoom lens, and two standard run of the mill lenses 18-50mm and a 55-250mm zoom lens nothing too special about the lenses I always carry a motion trigger and tripod for unexpected occasions

Feedback

we always have to remain alert to our surrounding (probably the safety advisor in me coming out) I was once told when shooting in front of you always look behind as there might be something a little more interesting going on also
