This photograph was taken in The Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. Mount Mitchell is off to the left of the frame.
This picture captures a dream my fiancée had on New Year’s Day 2010, one she documented in her prayer journal. “… Standing on the precipice of a cliff with mountains around and valleys below. Arms lifted up, embracing the sky, as if reaching up for a wide hug. Looking up. Feeling as if you [God] were preparing to pour blessings into my arms. And I wanted to embrace them all. Joy. Father, I ask that this be my stance in 2010. Ready to embrace all the blessings – all – that you bring my way.” … And that was the summer God brought us together!
