Thanks for your comments. I 'found' this horse-sun combo close to London Heathrow airport whilst on my way to see a client - I was suited and booted trotting across the filed in my shiny shoes skidding on the ice. It was fun

Stunning shot! Love the POV - made the horse look enormous! It was worth the trot! Congrats!

The sunrise on a frosty morning with the horses originally in the distance - it made me smile on my way to work!Editing
Increased exposure in the darker areas of the photo. In my camera bag
Olly OMD-EM1 with a handfull of fixed length lenses - fish eye, wide angle, '50mm' and portrait; a flash; a Garry Fong; ND filters for the wide angle and 50mm lenses; spare batteries; lens cloth and brush; and a cable release.Feedback
Firstly I had not planned this shot - always carry your camera with you! Secondly animals are unpredictable and 2 mins earlier Ned was nibbling on my suit so this 'pose' was luck not skill. Thirdly the sun rises rapidly and animals move quickly so you have to know your camera inside out to keep pace. Finally I had to carefully balance the exposure of an extremely bright sun versus Ned's dark side - shooting in raw enabled me to pull the shadows up and the highlights down more so than a JPEG would have allowed.
