Behind The Lens

Location

It was the British MoD firefighters at the Army Air Corps headquarters at Middle Wallop

Time

Night time - after 730pm

Lighting

Natural light from the flames and experimented with the different levels on the camera

Equipment

Camera - Nikon D50000 Lens - 18-50

Inspiration

I was in the Army Reserve so I thought it an ideal opportunity to photograph some of the activities we would need to know or that were of interest

Editing

Minimal. Maybe trimming

In my camera bag

Then, as it was a few years ago, I had a Nikon D5000, 18-50 and 75-200 zoom With tripod and monopod

Feedback

Don't stand too close due to heat. The lighting is amazing as you obviously don't want daylight settings
