Location
This photo was taken at park in the State Capital Building in downtown Columbus, Ohio USA.Time
I took this around noon, I took the photo during my lunch hour.Lighting
It was a sunny day, but the park bench was under a tree which provided some nice diffused light.Equipment
I did not use a tripod or flash, the Camera used was a Canon EOS Rebel with a 2.8 70-200mm lense.Inspiration
I love nature photography, I spend my lunch hours walking through downtown Columbus, Ohio and there is a wonderful park with birds and great foliage, the birds usually share my lunch and then I take there photos.Editing
I adjusted the light and contrast with Photoshop slightly. In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon 60D, My Canon Rebel as a backup, a Canon 24-70mm 2.8 and a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 and an external flash, lots of batteries and extra data cards.Feedback
Be patient and quiet when photographing birds and take lots of photos. Use a long lens when ever possible, shoot at high speed, I like to set it at 1/1000 as long as the light allows it, high ISO doesn't bother me too much, I rather have the stop action and a little grain then a blurry bird.
