Again how lucky are you, when I went there cars parked everywhere which spoilt it as its such an old quaint place.

Of course it is very subjective, but I like this version better than the other one which has more post processing. Although that one is great too! In either case, outstanding composition!!

Location
This image was taken in the historic Cotswold village of Castle Combe in Wiltshire,England.Time
This was taken around 1pm in the afternoon.Lighting
It had been a dull overcast morning after a night if rain. The sky had little or no colour at this point which enabled me to pick our the sandstone colour in the building. If it had been too bright it reflects back of the bricks with a lot of glare.Equipment
This was taken on my old camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150. I have since upgraded to the FZ2000.Inspiration
This is such a picturesque village. It's been used in many films/TVshows. This village has been used for films including Dr. Doolittle & Agatha Christie's 'Murder of Roger Ackroyd'. I was lucky that on this day there were very few people about. Usually due to its popularity there would be lots of tourists. This shot is typical of the character of the village & I liked the angle of the bridge with the slight reflection in the water.Editing
I slightly adjusted the exposure to darken the buildings to enhance the roof slates & birckwork. In my camera bag
I am a very lazy photographer & only ever carry my camera. I take it everywhere with me so don't aways have room for anything else.Feedback
Take your time when visiting places & look for angles. If I had stood on the bridge I would not have captured the angle of the road disappearing or the reflectin in the water. By leaning over the wall a little it gave me a better composition.
