the perfect detail for a composition from a small portion of the world that so many completely overlook; a masterpiece.

Behind The Lens

Location
I captured this photo on the dock at Julington Creek Marinia, Jacksonville, Florida
Time
Early Morning, you would want to get there almost at day break, before the web is disturb.
Lighting
Lighting is very important when using an Olloclip Macro Lens, holding steady, with this photo the dew drops were almost perfect
Equipment
Yes I did use a tripod, have a very small one that fits my iPhone4S,
Inspiration
I guess you could say I love the challenge of creating something that is almost to small to see with the naked-eye, with the Olloclip Macro, it does that for you. One might say I am fascinated with small things, like dew drops, snails, dragonflies ants, lizards, you name it, I try to capture it!
Editing
Yes, I do post-processing, my favorites apps are, SnapSeed, Enlight, Adobe Photoshop and iColorama.
In my camera bag
Nikon CoolPix L820, Sony Cybershot R-1, iPhone4S (Olloclip Lens, Wide Angle, Fisheye lens) backup batteries, power converter. Always a Triopod
Feedback
Make sure it a still day, no wind or breeze, in my opinion no one, hopefully you will have a dark background, using the Sony, I choose a large aperture (small f/number) it will throw the background out of focus. For a full web shoot directly from head on, Although I find shooting with natural light, but I have experimented with using the flash, which can offer some good highlights. Since this photo was shot with a Olloclip Macro, it does just what it's Made for, to get in close and clear, and almost all the time I get very good results.
